My passion for fashion and all things beauty started from a young age. I am originally from a small town in the misty green hills of Natal. After school I studied Psychology and obtained my honours degree in 2016. During that time, I felt a stirring in me and a desire to work with women. I dabbled with the idea of image consulting then already but the time wasn’t right.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to continue my studies in the field of Psychology and I entered the working world. Fast forward a couple of years and I moved to Pretoria in an attempt to spread my wings and see what else the future held for me. While I was just finding my feet COVID 19 hit and although I still had my job I was faced with whether this current life is the one I actually wanted. With the inspiration and encouragement of those closest to me and seeing them chase their dreams I decided to take control of my future. I qualified as an Image Consultant in 2021 through the incredible SA Image Academy. Dare to Bloom was inspired and created while I was still in process of studying. The name comes from how I want all of us to be challenged and to face the you that reflects in the mirror but that in that process of accepting who we are we can flower into who we want to be. I desire for every woman I have the honour to work with to discover who God created her to be and to live in that confidence. I believe beauty comes from the inside and I truly want your outward appearance to be a reflection of who you are on the inside.
